1. Is " On Homer’s path" an only walking-program? Though
“On
Homer’s path ”
is a mainly walking-program, it can also be considered being a cultural
program since the guides explain extensively the historical and
mythological past, the geographical particularities and the fauna and
flora of the Karaburun Peninsula during the hikes. Contact with the
villagers offers the opportunity to discover very ancient traditions and
values. 2. Are there different possibilities for accommodation? The
standard programs includes accommodation in a three-star hotel or an appart-hotel in Karaburun city with a
full- or half-board formula comprised in the prices.
Upon request and preliminary agreement accommodation can also be
arranged at pensions or a four-star hotel. The price will then be
adjusted to the choice of the accommodation. 3. Can disabled persons participate in the activities? Aktif Azimut Ltd. is currently preparing a special program for disabled persons: "Stylarius" . At the moment we are defining and adapting the trails and activities. 4. Does one need to be young and a sport to participate in the walking-tours? Everybody who is fit and in good health can participate to our programs, regardless her/his age. The trails ask for a reasonable effort and frequent stops meet the demands for recuperation. On the References page you will see for yourself that the participants to our activities come from very different age groups. 5. Is an international participation not a problem? The guides are speaking 5 languages (English, French, German, Dutch and Turkish) which enables the participants to understand the given information. Besides an international participation gives much more colour to the group.
